St. Petersburg realizes a project of the company VPiter, which allows you to see online all the best sights in real time. The company has established a network of 19 web cameras with high definition sound that allows everyone take a virtual walk around the city.

Thanks to the webcams you can see Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals, Nevsky Prospect, Vasilevsky Island, Petrograd side, bridges and embankments. In addition to usual cameras, the project involves panoramic as well, which while going round provide an excellent view. One of such cameras is placed on the spire of the Admiralty, the other - on the spire of Peter and Paul Cathedral. And the house number 47 on Nevsky Prospekt and in the Peter and Paul fortress have cameras with the help of which tourists can send greetings from St. Petersburg to their family and friends.
